In just three years since their very first concert, wilt has established itself as one of the hottest bands on the emerging Los Angeles alt-rock scene, with over 12 million streams and 100 million views on Instagram and TikTok. Driven by an ever-growing community, their debut single, “gwen,” generated significant buzz and quickly gained international traction thanks to the band’s viral content. The subsequent singles released in 2023, followed by their self-titled EP in 2024, cemented this meteoric rise.

Among their influences, the band cites Hole, Radiohead, Weezer, and Mannequin Pussy, while the vocal power of their charismatic frontwoman Chelsea has earned her comparisons to Hayley Williams, Debbie Harry, and Joan Jett.

Over the past two years, wilt has built a solid live performance track record by opening for artists such as The Warning, Destroy Boys, and Lovejoy. But this year, the band reached a milestone by selling out their own shows in several major U.S. cities.
