SUICIDAL ANGELS is a Thrash Metal band formed in 2001 in Athens, Greece, by guitarist/vocalist and principal composer Nick Melissourgos. Since its inception, the band has released seven studio albums, and has undergone several line-up changes, leaving Melissourgos as the only constant member.
The band draws its inspiration from the compositions of the great Thrash Metal bands of the ’80s and ’90s, in particular the American band SLAYER.
Their discographic releases, disrupted only by successive tours in good company (SODOM, DEATH ANGEL, EXODUS, SLAYER, etc.), confirmed SUICIDAL ANGELS as one of the sure-fire names on the European Thrash scene, lifting them definitively out of the abyss of the underground.
