MaMA Music & Convention revient pour sa 17ème édition, du 14 au 16 octobre 2026 à Paris, au coeur des quartiers de Pigalle et Montmartre.
Trois jours de rencontres professionelles (150 conférences, ateliers, networking…) et une centaine de concerts ainsi que 50 showcases dans des salles emblématiques. Une programmation pointue, actuelle, mêlant talents émergents et artistes confirmés, issus de la scène Française et Internationale.

PARANOID VOID

Toutes droites venues d’Osaka, Japon, les Paranoid Void viennent conquérir l’Europe avec un style de rock progressif et instrumental : le Math Rock (soit du rock & des maths), qui s’approche tantôt du jazz par ses constructions complexes, sa virtuosité technique et ses mélopées cinématiques. Leur jeu musical se veut à la fois complexe, d’une précision stricte, qui met à l’honneur leurs qualités de musiciennes hors normes. Le trio saura vous embarquer par sa puissance car ses filles sont résolument un groupe instrumental. Après une première tournée européenne en 2023, avoir fait sensation au Montreux Jazz China 2024, et un retour en Angleterre pour ouvrir 7 dates avec So I Watch from Afar et Delta Sleep en 2025, elles ont sorti le 21 Janvier 2026 leur 3ème album Action, qui marque un virage vers plus de groove, mettant à l’honneur leur redoutable musicalité et leur prouesse technique.

Straight from Osaka, Japan, PARANOID VOID comes to conquer Europe with their progressive and instrumental style of Math Rock (rock and math), which sometimes slides on jazz borders through its complex structures, technical virtuosity, and cinematic melodies. Their musical performance is both intricate and rigorously precise, showcasing their exceptional musicality. The trio will captivate you with their power, as they are definitively an instrumental group. After a first European tour in 2023, making a big splash at the Montreux Jazz China 2024, and returning to England to open for seven opening gigs for So I Watch from Afar and Delta Sleep in 2025, they released their third album, Action, on January 21, 2026. This album marks a shift towards a more groove-oriented sound, highlighting their musical growth and technical habilities.

Les concerts peuvent être une expérience quasi religieuse ; les spectacles de Martial Arts sont des événements transcendants, tant leurs deux leaders, Jim Marson et Matty Pearce, se retrouvant souvent par terre au milieu de la foule. Ce quintette post-punk est un pilier de la nouvelle scène musicale de Manchester, aux côtés de leurs amis Westside Cowboy et Shaking Hand – une scène qui attire l’attention nationale en tant que vivier de créativité dans de multiples genres. Ils sont aussi, selon les mots de Jim, un groupe d’« action directe », faisant partie d’un mouvement politique populaire en plein essor dans la ville.

Gigs can be a semi-religious experience, Martial Arts shows are transcendent affairs, with their dual frontmen Jim Marson and Matty Pearce often down on the floor with the crowd. The post-punk fivesome are a lynchpin of Manchester’s new music scene, along with their friends Westside Cowboy and Shaking Hand – a scene drawing national attention as a hotbed of creativity across multiple genres. They are also, in the words of Jim, a band of “direct action”, part of a thriving grass-roots political movement in the city.

CARMEN SEA

Trio électro-rock, réunissant violon ( violoniste de MARTA ) , batterie et guitare. Leur live mêle tension brute, textures électro & noise.
Sur scène, le live est pensé comme un bloc continu, à la frontière du concert et de l’expérience club. Inspiré par les sonorités de SebastiAn, Boys Noize ou Jackson And His Computer Band, Carmen Sea construit une forme hybride, entre l’intensité d’un live de Justice et l’émotion immersive d’un album de Jon Hopkins.
Avec leur premier single « NothingMakesMeSpecial_ », le trio annonce un nouveau projet très produit et sans compromis, où la fragilité côtoie la saturation.

CARMEN SEA is an instrumental trio: violin, guitar, and drums. Straddling the line between rock and electronic music, the band delivers a radical, high-tension sound where electronic production intertwines with live instruments.
On stage, the live show is conceived as a continuous block, somewhere between a concert and a club experience. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of SebastiAn, Boys Noize, and Jackson And His Computer Band, CARMEN SEA builds a hybrid form, combining the raw intensity of a Justice live set with the immersive emotion of a Jon Hopkins album.
With their debut single “NothingMakesMeSpecial_”, the trio announces a new, highly produced and uncompromising project, where fragility meets saturation.
