Kris Barras Band, one of the most exciting hard rock bands of recent years, bring a new dimension to 2024 with their new album “Halo Effect”. Amplifying the heavier sound of their previous album “Death Valley Paradise” (which reached the Top 30 of the UK Album Chart and four tracks of which were added to Planet Rock’s A-list playlist), “Halo Effect” features hard-hitting riffs, captivating soaring choruses and technical solos that set the stage on fire.

Recently signed to legendary indie label Earache Records, the Kris Barras Band harnesses the twilight melodies and driving power beloved of fans of Architects, Shinedown and Alter Bridge. Halo Effect”, which was recorded at Vada Recording Studios in Worcestershire and co-produced by leader Barras and long-time collaborator Josiah J. Manning, also features co-writes with Zac Maloy and Blair Daly (Shinedown, Halestorm, Lynyrd Skynyrd). Barras is joined
in the Kris Barras Band by Manning on guitar, Billy Hammett on drums and newest member Frazer Kerslake on bass.

After an almost unbelievable career change, from pro-MMA fighter for ten years to professional musician, Barras cut his teeth on the international blues rock scene, culminating in a frontman spot with the Supersonic Blues Machine supergroup (with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons). Meanwhile, the Kris Barras Band moved towards a heavier sound, which led to sold-out tours with Black Stone Cherry, The Darkness and Thunder at the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Arena.
Wembley Arena.

The Kris Barras Band are timing the release of “Halo Effect” to coincide with their forthcoming UK headline tour in April 2024. All Devon natives, the band kicks off the tour with a special evening at The Foundry in Barras’ hometown of Torquay, before touring the country via Southampton, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham and finally London.

“Halo Effect” will be released on April 12, 2024.
