EXHUMED, pioneers of “Gore” Metal, return from the depths for an exceptional tour where they will share the top of the bill with GRUESOME, whose music is a deliberate tribute to the first wave of death metal from Tampa, Florida, and more specifically to the early days of DEATH. EXHUMED’s legendary career needs no introduction. Their music is the culmination of decades of nightmarish riffs, devastating blast beats, and hellish screams from the very depths from which the band emerged! GRUESOME returns in 2025 with “Silent Echoes,” an album celebrating more than a decade as the best representatives of old school death metal inspired by the legendary Chuck Schuldiner and the many iterations of DEATH. This new opus sees GRUESOME moving away from the riffs heard on their albums “Savage Land” and “Twisted Prayers” towards a more nuanced form of terror. “Silent Echoes” is a real test for the quartet, for one simple reason: it was written and recorded in the spirit of DEATH’s “Human,” released in 1991 and considered a masterpiece of progressive death metal.
