GARMONBOZIA presents 1914 + KATLA

1914, Ukrainian experts on World War I continue to recount the macabre tales of the Great War, the fate of its soldiers, their deaths, their fears, and their exploits that must never be forgotten.

They will be returning to France for an exclusive date in Paris with the support of KATLA, to distill their Blackened Death Metal embellished with touches of Sludge and Doom. This sophisticated and undeniably brutal blend, accentuated by dramatic, realistic soundscapes and haunting melodies, will plunge you into one of the darkest periods in the history of the old continent.

1914 returns with its fourth studio album, “Viribus Unitis,” which means “with united forces” in Latin. Much more than a historical reference to the personal motto of Franz Joseph I, Emperor of Austria-Hungary, the title reflects the band’s resilience in the face of war, loss, and upheaval—a powerful symbol of survival and solidarity.

Released on November 14, 2025, via Napalm Records, “Viribus Unitis” builds on the band’s conceptual approach, taking emotional and musical intensity even further. Continuing their chronicle of World War I, 1914 slightly shifts its approach, moving from a raw depiction of death and destruction to themes such as camaraderie, endurance, and the emotional landscapes of those who endured the horrors. “Viribus Unitis” explores the human bonds forged under fire and the strength of those who returned: broken, changed, but still alive.
